Bedford City School District values the well-being of its employees and understands that your needs go beyond just medical or dental insurance. For that reason, Bedford City Schools has partnered with Cigna to provide all employees and their families free access to a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

You do NOT need to be enrolled in a Cigna medical plan to take advantage of the EAP.

This confidential resource offers no-cost tools, specialized providers, and a wealth of information to support you through life’s milestones and challenges. Cigna’s EAP immediately provides the help or advice you need and saves you time by connecting you to additional resources in your community. Cigna can help with:

  • Crisis intervention
  • Phone-based consultation, including referrals to available in-network providers
  • Chat-based assistance
  • Articles, assessments, videos and webinars
  • Caregiver resources
  • Support for military veterans
  • Identity theft support
  • Free legal & financial consultations
  • Healthy Rewards discount program

If you have medical coverage through Bedford City Schools, you may access the EAP through your myCigna.com web account. All employees and members of their households are welcome to call the EAP at 877.622.4327 or log in to myCigna.com using employer ID BCSDEAP
