Employees enrolled in Bedford City School District's EyeMed vision plan receive ID cards in the mail the first time they enroll. Additional cards are provided digitally on the EyeMed Website or the EyeMed app.

New to Bedford City Schools' vision plan?

If you have just enrolled in Bedford City School District's EyeMed vision plan for the first time, you will receive ID cards in the mail. Please look for your EyeMed welcome kit, which includes your ID cards and helpful information about your new vision coverage. Most employees receive their EyeMed welcome kits about 15 business days after enrolling.

Has your name changed or have your dependents changed?

If you have recently changed your vision coverage - for example, added a new spouse or child - you will not receive new vision ID cards in the mail. Likewise, EyeMed does not issue new physical cards due to a name change. You may print an electronic card online or view your ID cards in the EyeMed mobile app.

Do you need additional copies of your ID card?

EyeMed does not issue physical ID cards beyond those provided in your new member welcome kit, including replacement cards and additional cards for family members. You may print additional or replacement cards online or view your ID cards in the EyeMed mobile app.
