Bedford City School District's Cigna medical plan provides physical ID cards when you enroll in medical coverage. You will also receive replacement cards when your name or family members change.

Special Information for Open Enrollment

Cigna will mail ID cards to each employee's home address who enrolls in a 2024 medical plan. Cards are expected to arrive at the end of December, so please be sure to monitor your mailbox. It is very important that your address is accurate in Employee Navigator when you complete your enrollment, as this address will be used for your ID card mailing.

Please continue using your Aetna ID card for all medical and pharmacy services through the end of the day December 31, 2023.

New to Bedford City Schools' Cigna medical plan?

Cigna will mail ID cards to all new medical plan members. Cards typically arrive about 15 business days after you complete your benefits enrollment in Employee Navigator.

New name or different dependents on your Cigna medical plan?

Cigna will automatically mail updated ID cards if your name changes or if your covered dependents change. After updating your information in Employee Navigator, please allow about three weeks for updated cards to arrive. Your updated ID cards may be available sooner on Cigna's member website or mobile app.

Need additional ID cards from Cigna?

You can view and print additional copies of your medical ID cards at any time using the Cigna member website or mobile app.
